Research

Producing and systematising knowledge with communities, not about them.

We accompany and carry out research on memory, territory, health and education, with methodologies that recognise communities as producers of knowledge. This includes comparative research between the diaspora and the African continent.

We research with communities, not about them. That means the question is formulated in the territory, authorship is shared, and results return in a format useful to those who took part, not only to an indexed journal.

We accompany research on memory, territory, community health and education, and develop comparative studies between the diaspora and the African continent. We also advise external teams wishing to work with African-descendant communities without repeating extractive practices.
