We facilitate exchanges, delegations and South-South trade and technology links between organisations of the sixth region and the African continent.
The African Union recognises the diaspora as its sixth region. Colombia has been an observer member since 2008 and is the third country in the Americas with the largest African-descendant population, yet concrete links between organisations here and on the continent remain scarce.
We facilitate those links without waiting for states to agree: delegations, agreements between organisations, academic exchanges and South-South trade relations. We accompany preparation, dialogue and the follow-up afterwards, which is usually where these processes fall apart.
