Reparation from the root

Historical reparation is a right of African peoples and a duty of the states and institutions responsible.

Historical reparation is a right of the African peoples who suffered lasting historical harm under colonialism and the system of enslavement, and a duty of the states and institutions responsible for these crimes.

Reparation requires a reencounter with our roots, our ancestral knowledge and practices, self-determination, and the freedom to live by our own economic, political and social models.
