Health for liberation

Healing body, mind and spirit as a political act against a system that makes us ill.

The right to physical and mental health is fundamental to the integral health of a people. The physical, psychosocial and spiritual harm produced by centuries of colonialism and coloniality did not end with abolition: it is inherited, it accumulates, and it shows today in gaps in access, in racism inside health services, and in the dismissal of our own practices of care.

We work for a health system that recognises ancestral medicine, midwives and knowledge-keepers, food as a root of wellbeing, and Afrocentred mental health as part of the liberation process —not as a service separate from it.
